Course Description

This course is aimed at those who love Scripture and wish to delve deeper. The theme of this course is mainly how the Scriptures—particularly the New Testament—speak of the Resurrection of Christ.

  • How Was the Paschal Faith Developed?

  • The Historical Value of the Resurrection Texts.

  • The Miracles of the Risen Jesus.

  • The Oldest Resurrection Account and Baptismal Creed – The First Letter to the Corinthians.

  • Liturgical Hymns: Evidence of the Importance of the Liturgy for the Resurrection.

  • The Resurrection in the Oldest Gospel – St Mark.

  • The Resurrection and the Jews – St Matthew.

  • The Resurrection, the Word, and the Pagans – St Luke.

  • The Resurrection and the Apparitions – St John.

  • The Resurrection, the Miracle, the Supper with Jesus, and Love – St Joh

Target Group

This course will be available to anyone with an interest in biblical studies, with a special emphasis on those who serve as catechists or lectors in parishes, as well as those who have already completed the introductory course in Biblical Formation.
